Please read these Terms carefully before using Transcribe. By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not download or use the App.
Transcribe ("the App") is a speech-to-text application for iPhone developed by AppStudio ("we," "us," or "our"). The App enables users to transcribe speech in real time, import audio and video files for transcription, use AI-powered tools (with consent), and export transcriptions in various formats.
By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA) and agree to these Terms of Use.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on an Apple device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

Transcribe is free to download and use with limited features. Optional paid plans ("Pro") are available as follows:
All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Payments are charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancellation: To cancel a subscription, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone and cancel from there. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain Pro access until then. We are unable to process refunds; please contact Apple Support for refund requests.
Restore Purchases: If you reinstall the App or use a new device, you can restore your previous purchases using the "Restore Purchases" option in the App's settings.
The free version of Transcribe operates within the following usage limits:
These limits may change over time. Upgrading to Pro removes all usage limits.
Transcribe's AI features (Smart Summary, Key Points, Translation, AI Chat) send transcription text to a third-party AI service provider (OpenRouter). By enabling AI features and granting consent within the App, you agree that:
You may revoke consent to AI data sharing at any time in Settings → AI Privacy within the App.
You agree to use Transcribe only for lawful purposes. You must not use the App to:
You are solely responsible for the content you transcribe and for ensuring your use complies with applicable local laws, including laws regarding consent to record conversations.
The App, including its design, code, and content (excluding user-generated transcriptions), is owned by AppStudio and protected by intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by AppStudio.
You retain ownership of any transcription content you generate using the App.
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
Speech recognition accuracy depends on factors outside our control including audio quality, background noise, accent, and the capabilities of Apple's speech recognition engine.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AppStudio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.
The App integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms and privacy policies:
We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in accordance with applicable local laws.
